as life's hectic non-stop party threatens to get out of control and really exhausting

You may not find this tangibly rewarding unless you're included here, so this is a good time for casual and random browsers to turn back before they get too caught up in the sweep and majesty of the proceedings and can't let go.

As all over the world, the Power or Powers snuffed out countless lives prematurely and probably unnecessarily, they've left some of us to have lots and lots of fun for a little while longer.

Devon and Cornwall in October, a good start to the winter season

In October 2004, Kristin and one of her admirers went off for another visit to Devon and Cornwall -- adventures in the valley of the Doones on Exmoor, Tintagel and the Port William Inn in Cornwall, hikes along the Southwest Coast Path, followed by some views of castles near Oxford and a walk along the mighty Thames.
