Le Noirmont on New Year's Eve, 2006

Winter 2006-2007 spent waiting around for winter

We've walked up by the southwest ridge many times. We've walked up by the northeast ridge a few times. Today, on the last day of 2006 of evil memory, we're scrambling up through the rocky things from the front.

You may not find this tangibly rewarding unless you're included here, so this is a good time for casual and random browsers to turn back before they get too caught up in the sweep and majesty of the proceedings and can't let go.
